Client Volvo CE celebrates Intermat Innovation Award win

Longstanding SE10 client Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) received the equipment and machinery award at the 2018 Intermat Innovation Awards for its EX2 all-electric compact equipment prototype.

The awards, held in advance of the Intermat exhibition in April, aim to recognise and celebrate innovation and progress in the field of equipment, machinery and processes for the construction and materials industries.

Multilingual content – we’re loving it!

When fast-food giant McDonald’s launched its global i’m lovin’ it campaign in 2003 the company wanted to make sure customers received the same branding message and were impacted in the same way worldwide. To that end, the slogan was adapted for more than 20 different languages – becoming ‘me encanta’ in Spanish-speaking countries, ‘c’est tout ce que j’aime’ in French, ‘amo muito tudo isso’ in Portuguese, and so on.

Proudly sporting their SE10 emblazoned football strips, the team members of the Hemel Hempstead Town under-13 football team were looking forward to the 2017/18 season with great confidence. Just promoted to the Premier League of youth football – League 1 – they were champing at the bit to show what they could do.

Sport can be cruel

Alas, the season has not started well. In fact, it started badly. Very badly. Six games in and not a game won. Not even a game drawn. And to make matters worse, the boys threw away a 4:0 halftime lead in a Cup game against a team in a lower division and went down 7:8.
